^^ oh my goodness can you spot the spider there!!! Argh!!!
I have to say, most of the time when I see these baby events advertised I don’t pay much attention. Most of the time there are moses baskets and bouncers on offer and they are no use to me now! You can pick up a few bargains if you know what you are looking for and I know friends who have got some great bits and bobs but I have never been so lucky. However, this weekend I went along to the Aldi baby and toddler event and got some great bits for the girls!
I had a look on the Aldi website beforehand so I knew exactly what I was looking for – the main thing being some Julia Donaldson books. She is Little G’s all time favourite author so if I could grab those she would be one happy bunny! I went along early on Saturday morning and there were lots of things still available even though the event had started on Thursday.
So what did we get?
First of all LJ spotted a cup, she has a bit of a thing about cups so I let her put one in the trolley. We have tried lots of cups in the past but Munchkin are the best ones for her so at £1.79 that was a bargain!
She also spotted this little bath set from Nuby which I thought looked fun. We haven’t been able to use our bath for 2 weeks (but it is fixed now woo hoo!) so I bought this as a little bathtime treat! £2.89 for splashy fun, can’t go wrong eh?
Next was this cute little Peppa Pig puzzle. It only has 3 pieces which is perfect for LJ as she is just at the beginning of her puzzle making career haha! £2.99 for that beauty!
My favourite buy of the day was this cute bedding set. I thought it looked like LJ and she thought so too so we popped that in the trolley for £6.99!! Hurrah!!
So LJ did really well out of the trip, we also got some nappies for her as they were a bargain as ever and if you have never used Aldi’s own brand nappies seriously try them out as they are fab!
So what about Little G? Don’t worry, those books I spotted online were still there! £1.99 each- I was pleased as punch and so was Little G!! Hurrah!
Keep an eye out for their next event as it is well worth it. They have great bargains on offer all the time anyway and I have my eye on a nifty cake mixer they have in at the moment!!
We were sent some Aldi vouchers to help with the shop but all thoughts and words are my own.

I've never headed on over to a shop for a specific event, and when I hear baby I too think of Moses baskets and things for actual babies. It's great to know that they've got items for toddlers too. Great finds!
