We recently went along to a great Actimel event in London. We had a day of smoothie making and doing yoga with the kids. We left feeling stretched and invigorated and ready to complete the challenge they had set us.
I love a challenge and so for the past week we have been doing yoga every morning to help prepare Little G mentally for school. It has been so much fun, a great way to spend quality time together and gently introduce a daily exercise routine.
We were given 10 poses to perform ,choosing 2 per day, each has a name to help the child relate to the shapes. If you fancy giving them a go too then here they are, as modelled by Little G herself!

Her favourite is the tree pose but she has enjoyed doing all of the poses, it is definitely a highlight of her day. Once we are finished she has an Actimel kids drink, which she loves. She has only just started having dairy products and loves them! It is like she is catching up on 4 years of not being able to have it- she has to build up her calcium!
Have you tried yoga with your kids?

I love this post! Little G has such great pose. Ethan will properly be able to stand for like 5 mins max. I really like your photoshop skills too. Particularly the Giraffe one. Little G looks great! :) #Kidscorner

I love yoga and yoga for children is great too. Some schools have started doing it and i think the benefits have been pretty impressive. Such great photos - fab idea!! :)
