Christmas shopping is one of my favourite things to do. I love shopping in general but when it comes to finding the perfect gift for someone else I really do enjoy it! I have been fairly organised this year and have written a list of everything I need to buy. I say fairly as I am yet to actually get everything on that list. The main problem I have faced this year has been what to buy for the girls. LJ just inherits everything from her sister and Little G hasn’t especially grown out of the toys she got last year- plus it has only just been her birthday!
One thing I can always rely on as a gift idea is a book! Books are brilliant and you certainly can’t have enough can you? One of my absolute favourite shops is The Works as they have such a great selection and all at amazing prices. I have shopped there for years- even buying picture books during my teacher training year. Such bargains, even for a student!
We went into town the other day and spent about an hour browsing the shelves in The Works. We came home with such a great stash and I thought it would be fun to do a vlog about everything we bought so you can see it all up close.
Have you been to The Works before? If you haven’t then get yourself down there for some great bargains!

Ha ha just seen Rachel's comments I love home alone too. I used to love the works when the boys were little. I haven't been for years. But love the crafting stuff too. I love crafting but haven had much time over the last couple of years. That is something I hope to do much more of x

Oh, I really want to buy a Christmassy book for myself. Ones set in New York are my absolute favourite ... maybe its's come from watching Home Alone 2 too many times. I've never been in to The Works but I think there's one near me in Chester. I'll have to look it up.
