Wicked Jealousy

Time for Wicked Wednesdays again! I really look forward to reading everyone’s posts and seeing their pictures. I actually haven’t taken that many pictures this week, I have been really busy trying to tidy the house after Mr F destroyed it at the weekend doing DIY.

When people ask how I find having two children I am always able to say (a little bit too smugly) that I love it and they are both angels. We have been really lucky that Little G has never shown any jealousy. Until now….

On a normal day I usually take between 20-30 photos (more if you count the outtakes!). Up until 8 months ago they were all of Little G and she knew it. So now here we are with two daughters and the camera has to be shared. She does not like it one bit! 

I actually tend to take more photos of Baby L as I want to make sure I capture all of her firsts, I want her to have the same number of photos as Little G has of her first year. Little G doesn’t tend to do as much now that she is almost 3. I mean she does stuff but just not ‘firsts’ you know?

The other day I was trying to get a photo of Baby L doing something, can’t think what now. So there is me ‘mamamamama’ trying to get her attention, cue a fantastic smile … ready press…. BAM! In jumps Little G, totally blocking the shot! Moooooooooooooooooooooove!

She always smiles so sweetly ‘look at me mummy!’ and I have to pretend that I am loving taking a photo of her when really I want to shove her out the way so I can capture a moment!! You can see Baby L’s leg poking out haha!

It is really quite annoying but what can I do? Poor girl. Do your children have any jealous tendencies?
