Nappies Fit For A Princess

We are huge fans of reusable nappies in our house, having used them with both of my girls. I have written before about the reasons why I love cloth but in a nutshell they save lots of money, save the environment and look super cute!

gNappiesYou may have noticed that there has been just a teeny bit of excitement about the arrival of the new little princess, well it has spread into the world of nappies too! Many brands have released their own special edition prints to celebrate the birth of Princess Charlotte and gNappies are one such brand!

When they asked me whether I would like to try their nappies I was so excited! If you have never used cloth nappies before you will not understand but if you are a cloth mum like me you will know why I jumped around the living room with a smile on my face! Fluffy mail delivered to my door, hurrah!

gNappies was started by a mum and dad, Kim and Jason, who didn’t want to be another family contributing to landfill waste. They sought out an eco friendly option, finding a nappy that offers a midway point to going the whole washable nappy route.

So how do they work?

Each gPant comes with a waterproof pouch, in which a biodegradable insert slips inside. When baby needs changing you simply take it out and compost or bin the insert- your choice! You will be safe in the knowledge that the insert will not take the 500 years to decompose compared to disposable nappies!!

We popped our nappy on straight away, it was easy to add in the insert and the velcro fastening made it simple to put on. Something I particularly like is the inserts themselves. She is teething really badly at the moment and so we have had to be in disposables as our normal stash of cloth nappies would be ruined if we used them during this time (I am sure you know what I mean). This way we can have the joy of a cute bottom without worrying about extra work for the washing machine!

If there is ever a time to convert then it is today! I am offering one of you lovely readers the chance to win a gorgeous limited edition gPants nappy in either the Princess or Prince option, so your baby can look like royalty too!
