Our Week Captured #04

I feel like I haven’t stopped this week! I have written bits down as I’ve gone along to prevent the shambles that was last weeks’ Our Week Captured post!!

our week 4

1- Me and my biggest baby // 2- Treated myself to a new scarf // 3- Baby L on her Scuttlebug // 4- Little G on the tractor climbing frame at the park // 5- Baby L on the swings // 6- Waiting to go to see Nain // 7- The cake!! // 8- Surrounded by crumbs (yes still in her pyjamas at 3pm lol) // 9- Fascinated by the bubbles.

SundayI left Baby L at home with Mr F and spent the day with Little G. We didn’t do anything too exciting, just went for lunch and did the weekly shop. She loves going to Asda (to be fair so do I) the one near us is absolutely massive and sells  hundreds of clothes and toys. I can’t help myself and always treat the girls to matching outfits as it is one of the only shops (along with Next) that they both fit into the same age bracket.

Monday– We went for dessert with friends. I got a cookie sandwich- 2 giant cookies with vanilla ice-cream in between. It was delicious!!! Was lovely to catch up and offload our troubles to each other!

Tuesday– We went to the park with friends. Haven’t seen them in such a long time and won’t be able to see them for a while now as my friend is starting midwifery at the end of the month. I am so jealous, I would love to be that special person to someone as they go through such a life changing time.

Wednesday– My sister and my Nain (Welsh for Grandmother) share a birthday. My sister was in London so I went to see my Nain. She is 88 and is beginning to lose her memory. You end up repeating yourself so many times but I don’t mind, it is just lovely that she is still there to talk to.

Thursday– I got up early and made my sister a birthday cake. It took about 3 hours but I did it. I made a 2 tiered ‘wonky’ cake. I was pretty impressed with myself!! She came round later in the day and we sang her happy birthday. The cake tasted as good as it looked! Win!

Friday– Went for lunch with my mum and sister and I bought my sister Rihanna’s new perfume ‘Nude’. She loves Rihanna and it smelled really nice. Some of these Celebrity scents are awful and people just buy them for the name. One of my favourite perfumes is the Britney range. They are actually made by Elizabeth Arden and are really sweet smelling.

Saturday– The weekend again hurrah! We went to a birthday party at a soft play. Normally it is just me and the girls so it was great that Mr F was able to clamber all over the play frames while I relaxed in the baby zone. Baby L loved the bubbles and stood unaided for a few seconds as she let go of my arm!

Hope you all had a good week too. The weeks are flying by and I have seen Advent calendars in the shops so you know Christmas will be upon us before we know it!!
