Do you get time to sit down and do your make-up every morning? I have been a mum for 3 years now and it has taken me that long to finally find make the time for myself.
I realised that if I have found it hard to make time then other mums may well be in the same position. As mums we often put ourselves last. But if we let ourselves become unimportant then eventually we will believe that we aren’t worth it. But we are worth it!
Another week has flown by! Thursday seems to be upon me as soon as I publish the previous Dressing Table Diaries post!!
This week I have been so busy, catching up with a mountain of washing and trying to see the world and his uncle! It has been one of the hottest weeks of the year and we have been out and about every single day- I have even caught a slight tan which is unheard of for me- Mrs Pale!!
I have enjoyed having time at my dressing table again and having the time to do my makeup each day. If you saw last week’s post you will know I forgot my camera cable and so didn’t bother with makeup without the excuse of doing my vlog.
Unfortunately I am not going to be able to do any more vlogs as my netbook is not coping with doing any editing. I had been uploading them as I filmed them but most days I get interrupted and so have to knit two films together. It takes me about 2 hours to save on movie maker and even then it doesn’t always work. I am trying to rig up an ancient desktop but I don’t hold out much hope as it is about 8 years old and hasn’t been used in about 3 years, maybe more.
One day I may be able to afford a new laptop and then I will start again with Dressing Table Diaries. But for now here is one last vlog, I chat about how hot it is and how my dad has just upped and left my mum.
