Easy face paint ideas from Snazaroo

I have lost count of the number of face painting queues I’ve been in.

Hot days, rainy days, moaning toddlers…

I have often stood and thought that I could do a good job of it myself and how fun it would be to be able to paint the girls’ faces whenever they liked.

I have tried before actually, it didn’t go well. I bought a cheap set for a couple of quid and ‘had a go’. The results were disastrous and the girls were less than impressed!

I am not the most creative of people…

Thankfully, Snazaroo have created kits for people just like me. Kits that give you the colours you need and easy steps to create a simple look.

With Halloween coming up, these mini theme packs are perfect! So easy to follow and at £2.99 each, they are a great way to get practicing and all have the quality you expect from Snazaroo.

Witch

I love that each pack comes with the colours you need, a paint brush and a sponge. When you take out the sponge, there is a little water droplet picture. Fill it with water and you are good to go!

Love this picture so much!

Snowman

Ice Fairy

I was particularly proud of this snowflake, it was my first try but the pictures were clear enough to follow and Lils was very impressed!

Vampire

This is my favourite one – look at those eyebrows!!

Each pack made it so easy and the girls were pleased as punch! I am no expert but they don’t mind, they are just excited to be transformed into their favourite character.

It has really made me want to perfect my skills though and I will be keeping an eye out for the other theme packs for other characters too. There are summer, Easter, carnival, Halloween & Christmas themes to choose from, so something for every occasion.

All Snazaroo products are easy to wash off and are suitable for sensitive skin types – being fragrance-free and specially-formulated to be gentle on the skin which is great for us as both my girls have sensitive skin on their faces.

If you want to try your hand at face paints yourself then go take a look on the Snazaroo website for more.

We were sent these packs but all thoughts and words are my own.

We've got a couple of big packs of Snazaroo face paints, only N doesn't like having his done. He's only had his face painted once, as a tiger - nothing like asking for something hard for my first go. But the instructions were great and I was pretty impressed. He's never wanted it done since, but it's great to have a pack for parties in case there's extra time.

They really are great and they go on the face nicely too don't they? I've bought some in the past that hardly show on the skin at all!
