Clothes For Fun Days

I have always dressed my girls in quite girlie outfits. I think it stems from having no choice myself as a child. My mum dressed me in hideous outfits handed down from cousins and as a result I have always made a point of making a real effort with my own children. Their wardrobe consists of quite a bit of pink and actually I am getting a little bit sick of it now.

There are so many gorgeous outfits out there and I am having fun trying different colours. Red is a colour that suits both girls and that is the colour match I went for last weekend when we went along to a family soft play party. I like the girls to compliment each other rather than match, just means they look cute in photos.

I do love finding cute outfits for my girls. The monkey t-shirt Little G is wearing is from House of Fraser. Isn’t it cute? She loves monkeys and I always call her my little monkey so it is perfect! Most of the clothes that Little L wears are things I have saved from when Little G was her age. I do occasionally buy them both new outfits but it seems silly when I have so many lovely things saved in boxes.

When I first arrived at the party I wondered whether I should have dressed them in party dresses, but actually I was so glad I had sense to dress them in something comfortable as they were jumping in and out of ball pits and climbing up ladders.

Little G wanted to have silver and red to match her t-shirt. Bless. 

They both had a really lovely time, I on the other hand was exhausted- soft play does that to you doesn’t it? Everyone said how cute they looked and it makes me want to find more unique outfits for them to wear.
