You may have seen my post on Instagram the other day, sharing a photo of Wills climbing up onto his new fire engine. I said that I had never got the hype around wooden toys before and it’s true, I really hadn’t. Until recently.
The thing with having 3 kids, is that toys can accumulate quickly. Birthdays, Christmases, large families, all lead to a never ending supply of toys and as a result our house has begun to resemble a toy shop. Over the last few weeks I have realised that most of the toys that I cannot stand, are plastic. They are just ugly and cheap and I am sick of them all. I have been giving so many away to charity and in their place I have left behind all of the lovely wooden toys that we have collected over time. So much nicer!
So, when we were offered the chance to review this gorgeous wooden ride on from Kiddimoto I didn’t mind adding it to our toy shop at all, I knew it would look lovely and last us a long time.
It arrived with the steering wheel and wheels needing to be added but it was quite easy to screw everything in – Lils even helped do the wheels as they just need an allen key.
It is lovely and sturdy, the girls have been riding on it and it won’t be long before he is joining them!
For now he is quite happy pulling himself up – you can see how pleased he is can’t you?!
