Me & Mine: April

This month has been a blur really but thankfully we have had a good few sunny days and have been out and about as a family. I actually had a few shots of the 5 of us up my sleeve but they will just be for us and our photo wall in the hall now I think. For this post, I decided it was high time I jumped on the rapeseed bandwagon as I always love seeing everyone else’s each year.

We drove a little way to find the perfect spot and I am really pleased with how the photos turned out. To some people it may seem silly to go out and take specific photos each month but the months where we’ve really made the effort have been my favourites and we have so many displayed around our home. My absolute favourites are the ones I took last year in the poppy field and they take pride of place in our hall.

I grew up in a home where we had no photos, my mum always thought it was a bit self obsessive to have photos up everywhere but I couldn’t disagree more. I mean sure, if I had massive photos of myself adorning the walls that might be slightly odd, but photos of the people who brighten up my life just makes sense to me.
