I knew this month’s box was going to be a good one as my friend posted on FB as soon as hers arrived saying how great it was! Last month was also a good month and I genuinely look forward to receiving them.
If you haven’t heard of Degustabox, they are a food company who send a selection of food stuffs every month to give you a taste of brands you may not otherwise think to try. Over the last few months we have tried such a variety of products and discovered some great new things to add to our weekly shop!
This month was a very tasty selection:
- Dr Oetker Mug Cakes
- Scheckters
- Ryvita
- Bahlsen Biscuits
- Penne Rigate and Arrabbiata
- Walkers shortbread
- Primal Pantry
- Life Tonics
The Dr Oetker Mug Cakes were a huge hit! So easy to make, 1 minute in the microwave and you have a tasty treat!! Definitely add those to your shopping basket if you want cake in an instant!
Scheckters is an energy drink and not something I would normally drink. Mr F gave it a whirl to give him a boost in the morning before work. He likes those sorts of things so would have it again.
Do you know I have not eaten Ryvita for years and years!! I used to love them so I don’t know why I stopped. Very tasty with pate on so will be having them again. Wasn’t too much a fan of the sesame seed flavour but the black pepper ones were very nice!
I am going to admit to you now- I ate the Bahlsen biscuits all to myself! They were addictive I tell you and I demolished them in two days! Probably shouldn’t add them to my shopping basket but I may have to as they are delicious!!
The Barilla pasta products were fab and we enjoyed a tasty meal together. Something I really liked was the fact that the sauce was made with pure ingredients which meant LJ could have it too. Ordinarily she isn’t able to have sauces as they have soya or wheat added to them, so I would definitely buy this one again. Obviously she couldn’t have the pasta but the rest of us enjoyed it!
Little G devoured the Walkers shortbread and I didn’t get a chance to eat any (obviously getting me back after eating the Bahlsen biscuits!). She really enjoyed them so a hit there!
The bars from Primal Pantry contained nuts so Mr F was the only one to have them as we aren’t a fan. Shame as they are gluten and dairy free so would have been perfect for LJ.
The final product was Life Tonics coconut water. We weren’t too sure what to do with it at first but then we found a great recipe from little dish for a smoothie which uses coconut water as one of the mixers. It added a great twist and was delicious!
A great month once again!
