Me & Mine – June

Last minute again due to the fact Mr F has been in Azerbaijan the past week! It has been awful not having him around and hearing the awful tales since his return I am lucky to have him home at all. It seems Azerbaijan is full of crazy taxi drivers and 3 men on the trip were killed!!

The past few days have been spent giving him cuddles every 5 seconds as my mind keeps thinking about what potentially could have happened- I will not be allowing him to go anywhere without me again!

We took a spontaneous trip to the beach on Saturday, something unlike me really as I always like to have a set plan in place. However I woke up on Saturday morning and it was so sunny and the sky was so blue I knew we just had to jump in the car and drive!

I had seen my gorgeous friend had been to Walton on the Naze on Friday so we decided to go there after seeing her photos. It was about an hour and 45 away so not too bad, we are so inland that most beaches are a minimum of an hour away in each direction.

We are off on holiday tomorrow and I am so looking forward to more family time like this. I need to slow down and appreciate these moments more.
