A Blogger’s Child

Being a blogger has meant a bit of an adjustment for my family. I try not to let it affect our day to day lives as I do most of my work in the evenings but this obviously impacts on time spent with Mr F. He understands the ultimate goal I am working towards though so we muddle along fine.

The thing that has meant the biggest change is the fact that I am always, always taking photos. I take photos of food, I take photos of outfits, photos of them playing, you name it, I snap it. I have gone from the odd photo every now and again to being permanently attached to my DSLR.

This development has had an affect on my girls- they now know how to pose for the camera and absolutely love it. It’s funny because most of the photos I take are of the moment and so there is no posing involved. But when I do pictures of their outfits we use our garage wall and they are now fully aware of the drill.

The other day though, I was shooting some photos for my fashion focus post and Little G came up to me and asked whether I could take photos of her in her favourite dress. I adore taking photos of my girls so of course I said yes!

Do your children like to pose or do they run a mile when you get the camera out?

They are adorable! My Mr Two is used to me taking photos on my phone but when I bring out the DSLR he wants to look at it!
