Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. I co-host this linky with Jenna (Tiny Footsteps) so please do remember to go over to her post and say hi! We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days.
I really enjoyed reading Lisa’s ’50 things that make me happy’ post last week. It was the ultimate happy post and really made me smile. If you haven’t been tagged in one yet I really recommend writing one anyway as it really makes you smile from beginning to end.
Over to my week…
Out & About
Little G and I had such a lovely day on Tuesday! TOTs were looking for people to travel to London last minute to Pineapple Dance Studios and we decided to hop on the train and go along! I am not a spontaneous person at all and normally I would just think it too much bother, but Tuesday was different and I am glad.
Little G strutting her stuff
After the event we walked around London, just the two of us and it was so lovely. I really want to spend more time with her like that as it lifted her mood so much having her mummy all to herself. We went to town on Wednesday and sat by the river for a while, this sunshine is just glorious and it is putting me in the best mood!
Fun at Home
I don’t know if you saw our ‘Seaside Themed Week’ from last week, it is so nice having a theme to plan you activities around! This week we have been thinking about princesses and princes and had lots of fun dressing up and telling stories.
We made some cakes on Thursday and there was something not quite right about them. I couldn’t figure out what I had done wrong! Who messes up fairy cakes? Anyway, we tried again yesterday and as I went to add the flour I immediately realised what I had done wrong the day before…. I’d used plain flour instead of self raising!!!!
Time for Me
Not much besides running this week. I have so little time to myself these days but I don’t mind so much as I love blogging and never see it as a chore. Today I am skyping my best friend so that will be lovely. I miss her so much and wish she didn’t live so far away.
My Happiest Moment
Becoming a Huffington Post blogger was the highlight of the week for sure. I knew I wanted to achieve that goal and decided to submit a post to them. My bravery paid off as they signed me up! Just shows it is always worth a try!
Next week I would like to..
I want to bin loads of junk, it accumulates so quickly and I am in the mood to get rid of it- no sentimentality allowed!!
