No matter how many times I have been through a teething episode with one of my girls it still seems to creep up on me without warning! So this time I thought I would make a note of the teething symptoms and share them with you.
1. Crying for no reason! Honestly sometimes I only have to look in her direction for her to burst into tears! She is a sensitive soul anyway but over the past week she has taken to crying spontaneously!
2. The return of those sleepless nights! You settle them the same way you have done for weeks and yet something isn’t right. Bedtime becomes a hellish experience that leaves everyone feeling exhausted. Your head finally hits the pillow and you drift into a peaceful sleep….. and there it is, the cry you have been dreading. We have had L in bed with us the past few nights as this is the only way she will sleep!
3. The dribble. Honestly where does it all come from? Those cute little dribble bibs… total rubbish! Nothing contains it and you end up changing them 3 times a day (or leaving them soaking.. your choice).
Her dress was drenched within an hour!
4. The refusal of food. They are starving, you know it and they know it. Will they eat? of course not!! This only adds to the reasons for waking in the night- when suddenly they think bottles / boob will be a great idea! Thanks for that!!
5. Those delightful nappies. Honestly did someone feed my child acid? It seriously burns!!! The only way to get through it for us is yellow metanium- what a godsend. The contents of the nappy are something else altogether- just yuk. Enough said.
So there we have it! Our top 5 signs that a tooth may be poking through the gums soon! I have the Bonjela and her amber necklace at the ready!
Have you got any teething signs to add to the list?

I think my little guy has all of these symptoms! Crying all the time check, slobbering dribble check, but he never refuses to eat! He is definitely teething though and teething sucks because I don’t get any sleep these days. My sister was telling me about a freezable teething pacifier, anyone used those frozen nippii teething pacifiers are they the only one that makes one? She swears by it I guess.

Yes I think we have been Pre teeth this week but no sign of any yet! Randomly biting me when when feeding is the worst so far. The older one when he was bigger used to bite my knees when teething

Ah teething!! I wonder when I can stop blaming reuben's terrible mood or frightfully early morning on it?!
Hopefully soon because he won't be doing either...!

Ah my little girl is teething too, I think she is coming out the other side now thank goodness. It's funny though how you always miss the signs! All this is so true x
