I Love Autumn Fashion

I have said it before and I will say it again! I LOVE autumn fashion! I always enjoy getting out my autumn/ winter clothes from storage- the cuddly jumpers and cardis are just so inviting aren’t they? I mean, don’t get me wrong, come the summer months I am craving the bright colours and loose fabrics but for now, as the nights are drawing in, I want to snuggle up in my socks and drink hot chocolate by the gallon!

Over the last few years I haven’t been able to update my wardrobe- the perils of being a one wage family. All of our money has gone on food and bills and so there has been nothing left for luxuries such as fashion. I haven’t minded though, it was the choice I made when I decided to pack in my job. Now that I am doing a little bit of supply work here and there and earning money from this little ‘ol blog of mine I am able to treat myself every now and then. Hurrah!!

You may know that I am a hat lover, I always have been but lost all hat confidence over the last few years. Being now that I am a trendy blogger (haha) I have found my confidence once again and so treated myself to this beauty from H & M!!

I wore it at BlogStock last week and I absolutely loved it!! Didn’t love that the wind kept lifting if from my head every 5 seconds but it is still my new favourite hat! One to add to my collection!

Something I have been looking out for has been ankle boots, sort of Bob the Builder style if you know what I mean? I didn’t want girly boots but a worker boot to wear with jeans. I don’t think I am explaining myself well at all, so here they are…..

Sneakily took this photo while waiting for Little G to finish school! I had seen another similar photo so went on a hunt for some autumn leaves to recreate it with my boots. They are from New Look and I adore them!!

The best thing about autumn for me is the colours, gone are the bright colours and instead we welcome deep dark colours and this bag is definitely one I will be using this season. I was kindly gifted it when I attended the Sway PR summer party. It is from Mia Tui and I love the pink lining inside. I love their whole collection actually, so stylish!

My last purchase has been one of controversy in our household. Mr F cannot stand them but I really love them! Again they are from New Look – the only shop that sells pretty shoes for my huge feet!!
