Before putting your gift in a box, add scrunched or shredded tissue paper to cover the bottom, then add your gift on top.
Top with more scrunched, folded, or shredded tissue paper then close with the lid.
For the cherry on top, secure the lid with a big ribbon bow or cover the box itself with your chosen wrapping paper.

To hold the bag closed, you can use a small piece of clear tape or tie the handles together with a pretty ribbon or bow.

The Russian doll trick is ideal for those who want a bit of fun and have multiple presents to wrap for one person.
This method works by putting presents inside other presents and then wrapping them or adding them to a gift bag or box.
