How to use the AllRound Finder
Before you use the Finder it is recommended that you charge it for 8-12 hours the first time. Using the USB cable, charge until the red LED light turns off.
The device has various LED lights that inform you of the status of your Finder. Blue relates to the GPS status and green relates to the GSM signal status. If the red light begins to flash then you need to charge your device.
To use your device, simply place it with the item you wish to track. This could be in a bag or pocket if using it for personal tracking, under the seat of your car if you want to keep track of your vehicle, anywhere that is a permanent place for that item.
Using satellites, the Finder will send signals to the portal, which can then be accessed online or via your app. You can also set up a geofence with an alert if your device leaves the determined area which is great!
How do you connect to the app?
When you open up the box you will find a QR code that takes you to the setup page (start.finder-portal.com). Once you’ve created an account using your email address and registered your device using the device number, you can download the app (available on Android and iOS) and log in using your chosen email and password.
The devise you registered will now show up in your account on the app and you can start tracking your device and valuable items.

When you log in to the app you are instantly taken to the map and latest location of your device (updating every 30 seconds).
You can switch from 2D to 3D view for the map as well as being able to turn on a heat map to help you locate your device more easily.
A great feature of the Finder is the fact that you can use the app to set up alarms and alerts for various scenarios such as low battery, having a fall, high speed movement or whether you enter or leave a geofence. Such a great way to keep tabs on the device and safety aspects of the items you want to protect.
What is the cost?
The AllRound Finder is currently priced at £49.99 which I think is very reasonable for such a hi-tech device.
As with most trackers on the market you have to pay a subscription fee to access the features on the app. The current options are:
- £89.99 for 2 years (£3.75 per month)
- £54.99 for 1 year (£4.58 per month)
- £5.99 monthly
Final thoughts
It is a very clever piece of kit and the app makes it easy to keep track of the location of the device and the item you’re placed it with.
I love the fact that you can set up geofence alerts – I can definitely see us using it if we leave our car anywhere for a length of time (airport carpark for example).
On a day to day basis it can be placed in a child’s bag if they go out with friends or in my own bag when I go walking with the dog – the ‘shock’ feature would be great should I take a fall as I have set it to alert my husband should that happen.
