All this sun is making me long for the summer to be here, it is my favourite time of year and means we spend every day either in the garden or exploring different parks and walks through the countryside. Both my girls love to be outside and Little G especially has a real love of nature.
This photo was taken last summer on a lovely walk along our local brook. If you were walking at a normal pace it wouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to get from one end to the other but it took almost an hour as Little G was so interested in picking flowers and taking in the sights and smells.
I cannot wait to take both girls this year, with Little L now walking she will be able to join in the fun.

This time of year is really fun to share the growing flowers with your girls. We walk by a couple houses from nursery that have lots of flowers starting to bloom and we love to stop and talk about how the plants are changing. How spring weather is here soon.
