This weekend has been such a busy one for me! It has been our local NCT sale, which means plenty of bargains to be had! If you have never been to a sale you are really missing out and I will explain why now…
I always thought the sales would be full of friends and that I ‘wouldn’t find anything anyway’- I would always talk myself out them and stay away. I now know that I have missed out on 3 years of bargains and it pains me to think how much money I could have saved over the years!
What happens at a sale?
NCT sales or ‘nearly new sales’ are very strict with the quality of goods they allow. Everything you find will be in fantastic condition and at a fraction of the original selling price! Most clothes are around £1 – £2 which is a total steal! You can also buy cots, prams, swings and other fab items – just look at what I picked up this weekend for £5- an IKEA table and chairs, I am absolutely delighted with it!!
I also got 5 dresses, a pair of jeans, a pack of 3 vests (brand new in packet), a pack of 6 shorts, 2 raincoats, a pair of glittery red shoes, a pair of flip flops, 2 dressing up dresses and a buggy clip! I spent £32 in total and am thrilled with everything I bought!
Little L is thrilled with her new dungarees!
Do you love these Dorothy shoes?
Wearing their new dresses, Sleeping Beauty and a gorgeous pink spotty number! Love the shade of pink on Little L
Something you might not know…
Did you know that if you volunteer at one of the sales you get to go to a pre-sale? I have helped out for the past 3 sales and each time have gone to the pre-sale the night before the main sale and picked up all of the bargains! If I had gone to the sale along with the general public I would have missed out on so much!
You don’t have to be a member to volunteer either which is great! I will be helping out again for their Autumn/Winter Sale and again at their toy sale which is totally amazing!!
The NCT didn’t ask me to write this, I just wanted to share my bargains with you haha!

Ooh you did really well. That table and chairs is fantastic! I have read some real horror stories about people fighting over things at NCT sales so I've never really bothered before. I don't know if there would be much for sale for Elsa's age now either?! I always think they are for newborn stuff.
