I am part of the Lottie Blogger Brownie Pack

Were you a Brownie Guide as a child? I was and so were all of my friends – it was just the thing to do back then along with ballet lessons. Not that I was a ballerina – I wasn’t dainty enough for that! But Brownies was perfect for me as it meant I could learn new skills and collect every possible badge you can imagine – I loved the badges!

Here I am on my very first day …

I have so many fond memories – one that stands out in particular was earning my Entertainer badge. I had to perform Relight My Fire by Take That with my friend Samantha! It was so much fun! I actually went on to become a Guide as I loved being part of such a lovely nurturing environment.

The reason for my trip down memory lane is that I am working with Lottie Dolls this summer. They have launched their new Brownie Lottie Doll and want everyone to reminisce about their time as a Brownie and share a photo along with any memories they have.

I have been lucky enough to get my hands on one of the new dolls and will be writing about her in the next few days. The girls are desperate to get her out of the box as they adore dolls and Lottie dolls are just so lovely aren’t they?

In the meantime, if you have any old photos of you as a Brownie then pop over to the Lottie Dolls Twitter or Facebook page and share them, tagging @WhatKatySaiduk too so I can see!
