Kids Style: Elmer Comes To Sainsbury’s

I can’t believe there’s never been any Elmer clothing ranges before – he is such an iconic character! 2017 brings the very first baby range, available exclusively at Sainsbury’s and it is gorgeous! We were very kindly sent a few bits, some for now and some for when Wills is a little bigger and I love everything!

The very first Elmer book was published in 1989 and since then the series has sold over 8 million copies and remains one of the most iconic children’s books of all time. David McKee’s bright patchwork elephant is a firm favourite in our house and so I couldn’t think of anything better than to dress Wills up in the range.

I mean look at him, what a doll! He is wearing a 2-piece outfit here, with Elmer on the top and cute rainbow flecked trousers. The bottoms have feet like a babygrow, something I love as he is forever pulling socks off at the moment and it is driving me bonkers!

There are so many other lovely bits in the range too and we have these standing by for when he is big enough and the bib will be used before too long too!!

They also have some gorgeous soft toys and accessories in the range. Babies love patterns don’t they and Wills is loving his little patchwork elephant.

We were also sent some of the books in the range and as always they are bright, colourful and perfect stories for little ones. Gracie has taken such an interest in reading recently and has been reading them to Wills.
