BABY Born Interactive Doctor Doll #Review

In the past few months Little G has started showing a real interest in dolls. She has had a few dolls in her toy box and was given a buggy last Christmas but has never really played with them until recently. When we were asked if we would like to review the BABY Born Interactive Doctor Doll I showed her a picture and her face lit up! I knew it was going to be a winner!

She was so excited for it to arrive and looked as though she was going to burst when the postman walked up the path! We immediately unboxed it all and she wanted to try it all out to see what the doll could do.

What is included?

The doll itself is the same as a normal BABY Born doll but she is wearing a white coat and the CUTEST white crocs I have ever seen! She comes with all the accessories you need to look after her; a bottle, a dummy, a spoon and bowl, a sachet of food, a potty and a nappy. She is also wearing a bracelet and there is a bigger bracelet for your child to wear.

What can she do?

As with the normal BABY Born doll she has 8 lifelike functions; drinking & wetting, using her potty, crying tears, opening/closing her eyes, feeding and being fully bathable- all of these are without the need for batteries which is great!

I really like that she can be given a bottle- some dolls aren’t allowed to get wet so aren’t as realistic. She comes with a sachet of food which is easy to mix up with water- it then turns into a gloopy mixture which can be fed to the doll using her spoon and bowl.

We had a lot of fun making dolly go wee wee and poo poo! Little G was fascinated by the whole process and I can see why people would buy this for children in preparation for potty training! Something I really like about Baby Born is that she doesn’t go potty unless you press the button (her belly button) which saves mess everywhere.

She even cries real tears if you squeeze her arm which is an added extra. Little G didn’t enjoy this at first and got a bit upset but after a while she was squeezing away!! Poor dolly!

Baby Born has now become a favourite toy in our house and goes everywhere with us. She is recommended for ages 3 and up and I would say this is just right. She retails for £45.99 on most shopping sites.
