I am joining in with the Siblings Photography project with Dear Beautiful and the other co-hosts. I am forever taking photos of my girls but I want to have a monthly record of how they change and grow together.
I cannot believe how fast the year is going! May is always one of my favourite months as it means summer is just around the corner. We have had some lovely weather the past few weeks and this week saw a gorgeous sunny day- a perfect day for a tea party.
We were invited to attend a charity tea party at a local manor house, so the girls and I put on our dresses and went along with their Granny and Great Grandma. It is days like these that I am so glad that I have my DSLR as it was a prime photo opportunity with the weather and the gorgeous grounds.
As we arrived we were met by this gorgeous buttercup field. I have never seen anything like it and the girls were in heaven. They love the outdoors and didn’t want to leave as they were having too much fun picking flowers.

I think this photo is one of my all time favourites.
They both enjoyed some yummy cake before heading off to explore the rest of the grounds. The couple who own it look after the garden themselves- puts me to shame with my postage stamp of a garden!

Little G is still very much wanting to do things on her own but Little L is catching up and the more she is able to do the more willing her big sister is to let her join in. At first she was happy running off on her own but soon she realised that having someone to run around with is much more fun.
Trying to get a nice shot of them both in front of the flowers but failing miserably. Although actually I love these photos as they capture the fun that they have together. Little L is such a monkey and is always climbing on top of her sister. Little G doesn’t enjoy it at all though and always screams for me to get her off!!
May has brought my two girls closer but there is still quite a big gap to close. One thing that will help will be when Little L starts to talk, although with a one word vocabulary it won’t be any time soon!

Gorgeous photos! The ones in the buttercup field are just stunning, but I do like the ones in front of the flowers, their characters really shine through :) #siblings

What an amazing spot - I don't think I've ever seen so many buttercups, it looks like it was a lot of fun and the little ones were clearly making the most of it!!
