Don’t you just love flicking through magazines, reading articles about fashion faux pas and those little timelines they make for celebrities showing how they have changed over time? Yep, me too! So the other day my sister sent me some old photos she had on her phone- most of them were from 18 months ago and wow, Little G looked totally different!! It is funny, you just forget! Also funny is that you always think your child is the most beautiful being ever to walk this planet- then you look back 18 months and realise they look ridiculous! Anyway this got me to thinking, how many different ‘looks’ has Little G had? She certainly has had many many bad hair days bless her! Here is her very own timeline:
G was born with a ‘monk’ hair do. Dark round the sides and bald on top!
At 6 weeks she lost all of her hair!!
Mr F was very pleased when her hair started to grow.. blonde!!!
The Phil Mitchell look.
I can clearly remember thinking she looked gorgeous in this photo, honestly people on Facebook must have hated me! I look at it now and think lord alive what a shaven headed thug she looks- in a purple tutu!
By her first birthday she had a little bit of hair but not much.
By 18 months there was some growth but it looked so straggly!
Mullet anyone?
I did try…..
She preferred au naturale!
I thought a fringe might be a good idea….
Eventually I caved and chopped the straggly bits off!
Her hair started to resemble a hair do.
But oh, that fringe!!
Trimming her hair has helped it thicken up!
So we decided to grow out the fringe….
Such wispy hair as a blonde!
Getting long now…
Now we have a shaggy dog look!!
So there we have it, from brunette to blonde, from bald to shaggy! Needless to say I have started trimming Baby L’s hair already so I do not make the same mistake again! Can’t promise I won’t be making a hair timeline for her in a couple of years time though…

Honestly, it never grew until the day I started cutting it! I have already started trimming Baby's already and it has grown more in 2 weeks than the rest of the 11 months she has been here! x
