I love curry, we have it at least once a week and I wouldn’t mind if I had it every single day. For the longest time I have had the coconut based curries but recently I am leaning towards the tomato based dishes. A particular favourite being the Balti- not too spicy but full of flavour.
The problem with eating curries all the time, even though I make my own, is that it is a carb heavy meal. I love lots of rice and absolutely cannot have a curry without having a naan too. This all makes for lots of calories and if you are watching your weight then this can be a problem. So what do you do? Cut down on rice? Cut out the naan?… Umm no.
Cauli Rice is a fab new product offering 75% fewer calories than rice, pasta and potatoes. You may have heard of cauliflower rice before but up until now you will have had to make it at home yourself. Well no more- hurrah! Now all you need to do is pop the pouch in the microwave and voila!

The Cauli Rice doesn’t have a specific taste, certainly not of cauliflower anyway. If there is any flavour it is overshadowed by the Balti itself, which is how it should be I think.
