Getting ready for spring with Want That Trend

Inside: A look at some key pieces from Want That Trend.

I think I am obsessed with red now, I pretty much accessorise every single outfit with something red – I am just loving having colour in my life.

Up until 6 months ago, I would be dressed head to toe in black, but as my mood lifted so did my colour scheme.

I rarely wear black now and much prefer to wear blue as a base colour, which is why I chose this outfit from Want That Trend.

I chose this dress from the Katie Piper collection – I am loving florals lately and I do love a maxi for the warmer months.

I have accessorised using blue as the base and picked out the red from the flowers as a way of getting my red fix with the jacket.

You know me – I love a handbag and this one is really lovely with the bow on the front. I’m also loving the gold detail, which isn’t something I thought would ever happen as I’ve always been a silver fan.

Now you can’t escape that split, can you? I will be honest and say that I am probably going to wear red hot-pants underneath, just to make sure I don’t flash my pants on a windy day – nobody wants to see that!

Look how floaty it is though – just such a lovely dress and one I am going to wear all summer. The jacket will be perfect for colder days and can also be teamed up with jeans – another wardrobe staple of mine.

There are so many things on Want That Trend that I have my eye on now – I definitely want some more floaty dresses from Katie’s collection!

What is your favourite colour to wear?

I was gifted these items in return for the feature but as always I only share products that I love.

  1. I love the colour and pattern on this dress, although like every maxi dress I love, I will have to probably take a good few inches off of the bottom, the joys of being 5ft 2″
