HappyDays Linky #32

Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. I co-host this linky with Jenna (Tiny Footsteps) so please do remember to go over to her post and say hi! We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days.

The weeks are just whizzing by aren’t they? I just want to thank all of you so much for linking up each week, your support really means the world to us. It is so nice to see people seeing the best in every day, even when some days may not be the happiest. Even seeing one good thing can make you feel better can’t it?

Ok over to my week, thankfully we are finally free of illness so it has been better all round!

Out & About

We went shopping on Tuesday with my mum, not for any reason in particular but we just needed to get out of the house. We went to Asda to try out this new trolley cover we were sent, I did get some funny looks but Little G really enjoyed sitting in comfort. WP_20150519_006On Thursday we travelled down the M25 to meet up with Aby and Baby from You Baby Me Mummy. It is so lovely meeting up with blogger friends you chat to every day. If you haven’t heard, Aby and I, along with another fantabulous blogger Hannah, are setting up a new blog– just for you! We are so excited to unveil it to everyone, hopefully you will like it too.

Fun at Home

Oh it is so nice not being poorly! We have managed to have lots of fun and I will be sharing more in our themed week post on Monday. We have been painting most days, I have decided I hate washing up paint pots so am just squirting paint onto paper and then chucking it away after haha! Probably not the best thing for trees and the environment but for my sanity it is fab!

Time for Me

I have no spare time at all at the minute, with 2 linkys and 2 blogs my life is all about keeping afloat. You may think I am mad taking it all on but really it is just the fact we are building a blog from scratch and maintaining our own blogs at the same time, that is the problem. Once the new blog is up and running it will be much calmer.

My Happiest Moment

One evening we were waiting for Mr F to come home and both girls were ready for bed, they snuggled either side of me and I just sat there thinking ‘I am a mum’. The feeling was so overwhelming. I love them more than anything and moments like that are so precious.

Next week I would like to..

Think about what I am going to wear for Britmums. I know I want to wear a dress but I don’t have anything suitable and I definitely don’t have any shoes posh enough! Helllllllp!!!

  1. Most people were in trainers and jeans last time. I’m going to wear a floral dress each day with heels. That’s just me though.

  11. I think that the water you save from not washing paint pots makes your paint-on-paper technique just as – if not more – environmentally friendly. At least, that’s what I’d tell myself. 🙂 I love the green-hand photo.
Good luck with the new blog project – and deciding on a dress!

  12. Hi Katy,

Just linked up with you and Jenna for the first time. Love the Happy Days theme – my post might be a little more abstract but about happiness all the same.

I’m contemplating what to wear for BritMums Live too – my first time going!! All so exciting if a little nerve wracking! Hope we get to say hi in person.

Glad you and your family are well, I unfortunately have caught tonsillitis 🙁 As long as my baby boy escapes all is good though. He’s on my lap at the moment, so hoping I’ve followed all the steps – easy to get distracted when you are doing things one handed.

  13. Looking forward to seeing the new blog – can’t wait to see what you ladies have come up with. Exciting!

Oh my word, I hadn’t even thought about what I’m going to wear to Britmums?!? Aghhhh. I’ve been so focused on the wedding that it’s not really been on my mind. I’m thinking a dress too though. Might wear my blue brogues too.

I have been looking in the shops but nothing stands out- problem is that we have nothing to go on. Maybe we need to look at last years photos! x

  15. Ah, what a lovely happy week. I love the trolley cover – what a snazzy baby idea (though I struggle to remember a carrier bag, I don’t think I’d ever had remembered to take a trolley cover when my girls were bubbas!) Can’t wait for Britmums and I’ve no idea what to wear either, it seems I’m not alone! Hope to meet you there :o)

Come and find me if you can, I am too shy to find anyone haha! I am terrible for remembering to take bags too- not sure what I will do when it becomes compulsory! x

  16. Aw, love your happiest moment. Being a mummy is the best thing. Thanks for hosting this – I totally meant to link up days ago, but then the week happened! Better late than never! Excited to hear about the new blog project. x
